Learn more about the benefits of working at UC Brief Summary of Job Duties Under the general direction of the Director of Capital & Physical Planning and the Associate Director of Campus Planning and Design, provides professional planning services related to physical and environmental planning to the campus administration and committees, as well as outside agencies including the Coastal Commission, and others.
Performs CEQA analysis and Coastal Commission permitting.
Independently responsible for project planning and coordination for most, if not all, phases of planning regarding major and minor building projects.
Responsible for physical planning for land use, transportation, parking, housing, and other university functions.

Obtains development entitlements for up to $2 billion in capital projects through processing environmental regulatory permit requirements and tracks physical and environmental development constraints as described in the LRDP and other regulatory codes.
Develops a thorough knowledge of all LRDP policies and relevant campus-wide policies to effectively implement the LRDP.

Operates as the University's Agent and carry some responsibility in the role of project proponent with campus-wide departments and with environmental regulatory agencies.
