Job Summary: The Advanced Model Based Hardware section develops digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units, which are supported from proposal through transition to production.
Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space, to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.
We are seeking entry-level candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology to design digital electronic circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing.
Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
This position is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate: Supporting Program needs for electrical design and assembly.
Documenting and releasing new designs.
Testing new hardware and firmware.
Assembly of hardware for demonstrations.
Conduct peer reviews of new designs.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
Experience with Writing, Simulating, or Testing Firmware (VHDL, Verilog, HDL Coder).
Experience with circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification.
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.
S.
government issued security clearance is required.
U.
S.
citizenship is required, as only U.
S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.

Experience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.
e.
, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Multi-meters, RF Signal Generators) Experience working within a team environment.
Have strong technical aptitude as shown by strong grades or hands on lab experience.
Be a hands-on person with ability to work with hardware and lab equipment.
Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines.
Ability to deliver quality and timely results.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to multi-task.
