About the Job: Join our team as a Member Services Agent for the Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club! The Club, located at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara, is one of the most elite social clubs in the world.

Operates telephone switchboard, relays messages to telephone stations.
Guides Members and guests to areas of the Club upon request.
Assists with Member and guest requests at the front desk, via e-mail, via the mobile app, or via the telephone.
Transacts merchandise sales and gift-wrapping.
Schedules appointments for administrative staff.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES* ¨ Warmly greets Members and guests with a heavy emphasis on name recognition.
¨ Maintains all member accounts with special dates (i.
e.
birthdays, anniversaries, etc) as well as member preferences in an effort to elevate service provided to our members.
¨ Approaches all interaction with colleagues, Members, and guests in a courteous, service-oriented manner; attentive, friendly, helpful, and respectful to Members, guests, vendors and colleagues.
¨ Reports to work and clock in/out for scheduled shifts and meal and rest periods on time in complete and proper uniform.
¨ Subscribes to the principle of continual improvement in all facets of the operation.
¨ Operates telephone switchboard; answers the telephone; transfers calls to proper extensions; takes messages for Members and staff.
¨ Provides schedule and other club information to Members and guests.
¨ Fulfills Members’ requests, such as placing phone calls and holding letters or packages.
¨ Performs general office work such as email communication, word processing, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
¨ Maintains supply inventories for reception area.
¨ Reports presence of unauthorized visitors in or around the Club.
¨ Performs other duties required by the Member Services Manager, Service Director, and General Manager.
¨ Accepts reservations for the Ty Warner Cabana, dining, fitness, racquets, and special events.
¨ Assists with enforcement of all rules, regulations and policies with member and their guests.
¨ Maintains Member and guest records, including visits by guests and according Member charges.
¨ Updates and maintains Member contact information.
¨ Operates front desk, lobby, and other areas as required.
¨ Transacts merchandise sales and gift-wrapping requests.
Fulfills merchandise orders placed electronically online or via the mobile app.
¨ Acts as central hub for all hours of operation, programming information, member requests, member feedback and ensure that respective parties are informed.
¨ Ensures music and monitor on and at appropriate volume as applicable.
¨ Maintains visually compelling reception area with constant upkeep and cleaning.
¨ Assembles new Member and marketing packets and information.
¨ Attends all trainings and meetings as required/requested.
¨ Follows all established Club and departmental policies, procedures, standards, systems, controls and objectives.
¨ Helps promote a safe work environment in all operational areas and endeavors.
¨ Performs other duties as assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS* ¨ Dynamic outgoing personality; articulate, friendly, punctual, and proactive ¨ High level of client service, professionalism, and attention to detail ¨ Excellent verbal communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
Fluency in English language.
¨ Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office ¨ Honest, reliable, and demonstrates a passionate commitment to the Club ¨ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment ¨ Problem solving, reasoning, and “thinking out of the box”; ability to apply common sense understanding to better serve our internal and external guests’ needs ¨ Must work well in stressful and high pressure situations ¨ Ability to manage Member and guest complaints and disputes to a satisfactory resolution ¨ Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays *EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION* ¨ Two-year college degree or minimum two years’ related experience ¨ Previous hospitality experience to include host / hostess, receptionist, front desk agent, tour operator, sales associate, retail associate ¨ CPR certified *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* ¨ Frequently stands at a desk for prolonged periods of time, at least eight hours ¨ Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach ¨ Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift items up to 25 pounds ¨ Primarily works indoors and in a hybrid indoor/outdoor setting; occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions ¨ Ability to withstand continuous mental activities ¨ Ability to withstand continuous repetitive motions *ACKNOWLEDGEMENT* _Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V.
