Tennis Shop Assistant – Retail and Court Management
The Tennis Pro Shop at La Cumbre Country Club is looking for a part-time assistant to help run the Tennis Pro Shop.
Your role will be to facilitate member check ins, manage the tennis and pickle ball courts, conduct sales, maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the shop, restock the snack and coffee station, assist with processing inventory, and complete any other necessary tasks at the direction of the Shop Manager or the Tennis Director.
Other tasks might include, for example, helping with data entry and updating the bulletin board.
Job requirements:
• A high school diploma and legal working status in the US; college students and graduates desirable!
• Excellent customer service and ability to interact positively and diplomatically with club members and guests
• Timeliness
• Responsibility and honesty
• Attention to detail
• Hard-working
• Computer literacy
• English fluency
Helpful but not essential:
• Understanding of the game of tennis and pickle ball
• Interest in fitness and athletics
• Prior experience interacting with country club clientele
Hours available:
Tuesday: noon-4pm (or 8am – 4pm)
Thursday: noon-4pm (or 8am – 4pm)
Optional, Sunday: 8am-noon (if applicant desired another shift)
There are always more shifts available throughout the month to fill in as well on an as-needed basis and there is also potential for more hours in the future.
We are looking for at least a 6-month commitment to the two shifts above.
