We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Pueblo Radiology Medical Group.
As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to our daily operations and ensuring our financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
You will be responsible for producing financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and supervising a department staff of three with oversight on purchasing, inventory, and A/R.

*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
* Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, pension activities, and taxes
* Works closely with the Bookkeeper daily to ensure accounting deadlines are met.
* Prepare, and provide management, with monthly financial statements with supporting schedules/reports
* Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
* Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
* Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
* Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
* Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
* Manage business licenses, contracts, and filing of necessary taxes
*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE*
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Must have “expert” knowledge of QuickBooks Online
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
* Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
* Knowledge of employee relationship-building and performance-management techniques
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with other financial systems
