We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics.
The successful candidate will oversee and optimize the logistical operations of a customer facility in Santa Barbra, CA, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services from production to delivery.
This position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail .
Responsibilities
Supervisory Leadership: Act as the on-site leader in the absence of the Operations Supervisor, providing guidance and support to the logistics team.
Logistical Planning: Coordinate the efficient movement of goods, materials, and supplies, optimizing routes and schedules to meet customer demand and operational deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to uphold product standards and customer satisfaction.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any concerns promptly.
Team Development: Train, mentor, and motivate logistics team members to maximize productivity and performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and reducing costs throughout the logistics chain, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
5 years of logistics experience
Proficient in Excel Ability to multitask and handle heavy work loads
Ability to communicate effectively with upper management and field personnel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
